What is the Verb?
The verb is an important word in English, because we can not make a sentence without a verb. But we can make a sentence only with a verb, for example : "see". Many verbs give the idea of action, of "doing" something, but some verbs give the idea of existence, of state, of "being". A verb always has a subject, therefore, we can say that verbs are words that say us what a subject does or is; they describe.
